This place was excellent!!! Best Sicilian food we have had while vacationing in Sicily. This family run restaurant is a must for lunch! The staff was wonderful and cordial. Wine was excellent as well.

We found this restaurant through trip advisor and it was well worth the visit. The service was friendly and welcoming and the food typically Sicilian - boiled egg and sweet wine to start was unusual as was the bib tied around each diners neck! We had the traditional dish of pasta with sardines and tuna with a ragu sauce and... More

Me and my boyfriend came for dinner here when we were on holiday in May. Was a really nice traditional restaurant, filled with locals and with a really friendly relaxed atmosphere. They made a lot of effort to explain the dishes to us in English, and the meal was extremely good value for money, we had a lot of food... More

The pasta was so so, but I think we ordered the wrong thing. The atmosphere and service was great. It started with an appetizer of a sweet wine and a hard boiled egg. My husband had sausage with fava beans that he really liked. The artichoke casserole dish look great and wishes I had tried it. Again, might deserve 5... More

Love the vin santo and boiled egg appetiser, but not for my family so after two glasses and two eggs we pressed on with the menu. Range is a little limited but all great quality and the service is very efficient and friendly. Loved the pasta with shared and my girls both enjoyed the pasta with meat sauce. Excellent vino... I am a Sicilian , I have grown up appreciating good food and especially our own typical Sicilian food . This place not only lives to expectations... it's better! Known by most people in Palermo is a bit of a drive but totally worth it if real Sicilian quality is what you after. Service is excellent and quick even with... More

An old restaurant which has been passed down through generations and still holds true to its tradition. The walls host the pictures of a bygone era but the feeling, the quality and the service is also a past remembrance. You are given a huge red checkered bib, and from the boiled egg served with liquor as a starter (have them... More
