Didnt have high expectations but chef surprised us. Pork chop Tuscany stile (can be wrong name) was one of the best I ever tasted, Eventually we realized that local did recommend it to us but we missed it in the list.

We loved the interior of Le Monache - almost like wandering into an antique shop, full of sofas and ornaments, a shabby chic style all of its own. Service was super friendly, and food very good indeed. We had a lovely evening

We ate here on our first night in Camiore. We had pre booked for our party of 11 and ate outside. We had a very nice evening. The food was very good and very plentiful. The waitress was very nice and helpful. No complaints and a great start to our holiday

I came here with my brother for dinner today. The two waiters were very accommodating and friendly, but also a bit overwhelmed with the full restaurant, which resulted in slight delays. As I'm on holiday I do not mind waiting though. We had a little hiccup with the starters: I ordered the prosciutto crudo e melone but only received the... More

We had a wonderful dinner. The chef Johan came out several times to help us order and to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We all tried several things, all were great. Fresh ravioli was a favorite of the table. Lemoncello was made from lemons from the chef's own lemon trees! We will go back!

We are staying in a farmhouse nearby and have had 2 dinners and a lunch in the past week or so. They are soooooo friendly, the food is delicious, the setting is cozy. The chef and waitstaff are completely accommodating and very helpful. We have spent hours eating and laughing and completely enjoying ourselves.

We were on the road for some sightseeing and stopped for lunch at this small restaurant/inn on the recommendation of our own B & B host. That was a great suggestion. This inn has a small ground floor restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. We had two different soups and two different pasta dishes. All four were excellently prepared.... More

Camaiore is probably off the tourist map but this is the most superlative restaurant I've ever eaten in throughout all of Italia, north to south. The food is always fresh and innovative, custom to the region. I drove again today 400kms to have the tordelli made fresh. Ilir the head waiter may just be the most informative and friendly person... We chose a table inside in the living room style (from the seventies) guest room. Service was nice, however none of the various dishes that we tried was inspiring or special. Not the poor starter (kind of quiche), not the pasta with deer sauce, not the boar with tasteless polenta, not the panna cotta. All ok and acceptable, but at... More

We sat outside and our servers were fabulous; we ate well and received a lesson on the local history too. The appetizer of canapes, onion & sausage was wonderful. Followed by ravioli and wild boar and polenta that words fail to adequately describe. Let's just say that conversation was interspersed with lots of yummy-sounds.
