Warm welcome, accommodating owner, lovely private room upstairs to enable our lycra clad group to relax together. Scrumptious tomato and basil soup and even more delicious bacon sarnie. Couldn't resist a yummy granola flapjack as I paid (strategically placed at the till point!). Have visited several times before but this has been our best to date. We will be back.

What a gem this little cafe is......so welcoming, food delicious...... There's an upstairs that has a sofa and a fire! Don't rush you out...and the BLT can be well recommended and scones, warm, light, and yummy.

Stopped off for a cuppa and a cake on our way back from a trip to Scotland. The cafe was clean bright and modern, the staff very friendly and the choice of food really good for such a small place. I had earl grey tea in an amply large pot and the filter coffee came with an automatic refill. The... More

Visited a week ago. Loved the cafe, very warm and cosy. Lovely food and drinks, food and drink came promptly. However, the young lady serving was clearly more interested in her phone. As I arrived she was sat on her phone. As I went to pay the young lady was still on her phone and I waited a few moments... More

Thanks for taking the time to express your disappointment at the attention you received on the day of your visit. Being distracted by mobile phones is a problem. Your helpful comments has brought attention to the issue within the cafe and there is now a better understanding of the distraction and the effect it can have on valued customers. Your... More

Popped in here on the weight of the positive reviews on here. I can only assume it has slipped it's standards of late. Ordered poached eggs for two, crumpets, and a round of toast for one. At this point there was two people upstairs and another couple who'd already received their order downstairs. Our meals came out staggered, with fridge-hard... More

We arrived to the cafe for scones and coffees . The greeting we got on arrival was harsh and cold . When the scones arrived they where dry and average . And the coffees are cold. We will not be coming again.

We are very sorry to hear that your experience at the Cafe was not memorable for the right reasons. Very rarely does it happen that the scones are below the high standard we try to maintain. It's a pity you did not make us aware at the time, we could have corrected both the coffee and the scones for you... More

Sat outside for a cuppa and a scone. Really friendly staff and quick service. Excellent cheese scone too which is always a good sign! Lovely area inside and upstairs for sitting and watching the world go by outside the window.

On a sunny day in Corbridge there is no place on this earth I'd rather be. We are glad you took advantage of the outdoor seating and yes all the world goes by that little corner. The scones always go down a treat. Thanks for taking the time to write your review. Judith More
