First time here during work trip and their menu have lots of wide range of pasta. So I tried the one (i forgot the name) its cheese with mushroom pasta and the taste was awesome. Prior to arrival with me and my friend, they welcomed...us with hand sanitizers placed on our hands and told us to go washroom to clean our hands (with this outbreak currently happening). I feel they are very caring towards customers' hygienic. Perhaps other restaurants should adopt the same to stay healthy and hygiene.More

After more than a decade, i would say the cafe still remains more or less the same in terms of quality. The price might scare you on the menu but unless you have a huge appetite, the portion is good enough for at least 2...pax. In overall, this is one legendary cafe in the town of Sibu.More

The place was nice considering it’s in a small town after all. The food portion is enough for the average adult, but the side dishes were a little too plain given the price point. Food itself isnt particularly tasty, just average. Carpark is a nightmare....Worthy of visiting in a small town like this.More

Perhaps the name is misleading as it is actually a well established restaurant that spans over three floors. Right next to the iconic Sibu landmark, the Chinese temple, the restaurant is popular among locals and tourists. The interior is beautifully decorated with rustic feeling combining...both Asian and Western styles. We were greeted immediately and brought to our table at the second floor. We ordered four dishes for three of us. The first dish is the signature fried rice served with cincaluk sauce (a local fermented prawn sauce). The portion is decent and the sauce is simply amazing. The grilled chicken is done perfectly - tender and well marinated. Dip in the brown sauce, the meat is flavorful and very juicy. For a more adventurous experience, we had two local dishes - the Dayak lamb stew and the big rice noodle with prawns and pickled veggies. My favourite is the lamb stew. The combined taste of the meat, dark soy sauce and fermented bean curb, gives it a sweet and flavorful base and the occasional bite of the fermented bean curb gives it an extra salty kick. The big rice soup noodle is traditionally a foochew favourite dish. The soup base is rich and is inclined towards a full sour taste. I thought it will make a good appetizing soup though we had it as a main course. Overall, the experience is above my expectation. The price is slightly above average but certainly great value for money. I would highly recommend to any visitors to Sibu.More

Found this place after wondering around Sibu. Nice ambience. Surprisingly big portions, so the price is quite worth it. Taste wise is not bad, had the Dayak Lemongrass Lamb which was amazing. Overall a good place to go for a meal

Ambiance was good. Place was nicely decorated and rather tastefully done. The food however was only mediocre at best. Given the settings, the quality of food should have been much better. In this case it was quantity over quality which was such a shame. The...place was quite packed so service was rather slow.More

Visited this café for its easy to reach location. It was 6:30pm and the sign at the door said "Closed" and not a soul in sight. I bravely pushed the glass door and realized that the sign was wrongly put. This is a nice and...clean café, but eerily quiet. Though it was a weekday, I would expect more than the 2 tables of customers through the 2.5 hours we spent at the restaurant. But, it is a good and stressfree place to chitchat without worrying of being chased away. I was really disappointed with the food. The western food is cooked Asian way. Steamed/boiled vegetable is hard. The sauce just tasted strange. My friend's lamb chop was covered with this mayonnaise-mustard topping that looked really greasy and fattening. The meat was overcooked and a bit dry. My chicken chop was pretty tasteless, the gravy didn't really help the taste. Overall I liked the ambience, price was cheap but would eat at a different restaurant for food.More
