Decided on a trip to Casares as our map said it was one of the prettiest villages in Spain. In addition, it is renowned as a place you can view the Griffon Vulture in its natural habitat. We were not disappointed the village is very scenic - but walking about the village is perhaps not to be recommended to anyone... More

The food is excellent....not fancy but really satisfying and not "assembled" just cooked well. Service matches in speed and charm and my waiter spoke enough English to correct my spanish. Great view from the inside dining room across to the town. Price is great too.
