We very much enjoyed dining at U’Curdunn, decorated in traditional style inside the restaurant and has a lovely warm cosy feeling (even more so when they is a thunderstorm happening outside !). We shared the ‘U’Curdunn Delights’ as our starter - a selection of small...local dishes which included some lovely slow cooked beef in a mint sauce, squid, mini courgette & mint pie, aubergine - these arrived at different times and were all lovely. For our main courses it was orecchiette pasta with ‘grandmothers’ meatballs and laganari pasta with cheese, tomato and basil - again both dishes were really good. We ordered a bottle of local primitivo wine from the winemaker Cardone called Archita which was superb. A really enjoyable meal with great service and the bill came to 93 Euros (inc service) - we would be very happy to recommend dining here.More
Great food, very simpatici, waiters, had dinner outside along the street , Highly recommended Last winter I had dinner inside and it was very charming
It's a mix of things that transformed U'Curdunn in an unique place to eat. The food is excellent and unique, place is magic, simple. There special dishes are not in the menu, example the meat.... Ask Pepino what he could offer you, he is a...fantastic person. If possible reserve a table outside.....More
Nice and relaxed dinner outdoor. Warm welcome. Suggestion: try their local “antipasti” and pasta du jour.
We have been going to U'Curdunn for over 10 years. They have a variety of excellent Italian specialties. The roasted meats, grilled vegetables, pastas and desserts are to die for! They have a huge variety of wines for the connoisseur! We have had parties there,...as well with about 14 people and the owners prepared tables quickly and efficiently with no problem. It's a local gem of a restaurant! Go there!More
It’s a nice place with a great atmosphere, specially this period of the Year. They have good vines and are very kindly but i remember last time i went there i ate definetly better... this time the second plate was lukewarm and not very enthusiastic...(for me the lamb is not only a heap of bones placed on two clowes of fried garlic). The dessert was pretty good as in my memories that caused me to turn there to taste and enjoy the evening in good company.More
We went for lunch and were recommended this place by locals. We sat inside, I really liked the thoughtful local interior design. We ordered "earth" type of appetizers, as we do not really like "seafood". We had different pasta types as the main course, and...we could not resist their desserts. We had an amazing lunch in a truly local setting with delicious food and great service. We definitely recommend this place when you happen to be in Locorotondo.More
We were recommended to this restaurant by our bike guide who is a local girl. It was lovely sitting outside in the sun in the small lanes and the food was delicious. Best of all was the service - so warm and interested and we...felt like we were dining at their home.More
