Was looking for a place to take a freind for a coffee before dropping him to the train station. Behold, "The Nook". It's small, but cosy, cramped, yet atmospheric. The crepes. coffees and hot chocolate are all fabulous. and the service is just as good. I'll be back.

Stopped in Athenry on way to Galway. Intimate, warm and inviting setting - owner was incredibly friendly. Coffee was fresh and crepes were without exaggeration the best we've had.

While waiting between trains in Athenry, our family of six stumbled upon this wonderful little cafe. We all had The Usual (which was both savory and sweet) Crepe. It was absolutely delicious. The ingredients are locally grown and fresh. I had coffee (also locally grown) and my wife had tea. We definitely look forward to revisiting The Nook in the... More

I was changing trains in Athenry recently and had a half-hour to kill. I came across this little gem of a spot by pure chance. The first thing I noticed was the great smell of fresh homemade baking and coffee. There were lot of customers getting takeaway, just as well as it's so small! My coffee was really good. There... I had the crepes with maple syrup and coffee. It's a cozy little place with homemade muffins, squares, and crepes. The owner was so nice, and she let me use the private bathroom after my long drive. It's right in town and a great place to stop and have coffee or tea. It also has local pottery and jewelry for... More

Nice coffee and plenty of snacks and light bites. Very small premesis though and is full with less than 10 people through the door. Takeout works well...

The Nook is the 'jewel in the crown' of Baile Atha an Rí, Athenry. You know a place serves great food when it is visited by the locals & savvy day-trippers who enjoy the best coffee and banter. Sweet and savoury crepes are made to order with organic and locally produced ingredients. The artisan feel & the eclectic collection of... More

Lovely, small cafe in central Athenry. Friendly staff and a homely touch of decoration. Delicious crepes, easy stop off the motorway to or from galway to Dublin.

On a particularly rainy day, my husband and I needed to take shelter and there was The Nook. We ducked in and were able to enjoy delicious hot chocolates and crepes. Really cool spot!
