Ate there twice in 2 weeks . Nice ambience with stage singers!
Crabs.. sweet sour and chilli milk styles.. yummy. The prawn cheese noodles is usually a hit too. Dining is upstairs as downstairs cater to tourist group. Arthritic people might find it challenging...

As I was staying at Philea Resort for the night and I don't want to eat hotel food for my dinner so I decided to look for some restaurants nearby from trip advisor . At last I chosen this restaurant and with no regrets . The service was fast and good and I was usher upstairs to dine . The food I ordered was delicious and yummy to every single bite and I really love the Sabah vegetable which I could hardly find anymore in Kuala Lumpur or Selangor . I would definitely come back here to dine once I go to Melaka for holiday .

We came after reading positive reviews. It's easy to find parking. Decor is reasonably comfortable and staff were quite polite. Menu is only in Chinese but you can point at the pictures.
We ordered prawn balls, potato leaf in belacan and ma po tofu. Waiting time was quite long. Food was okay but unspectacular.
Decent overall.

Signature dishes are milk crabs and bee hoon ( vermicelli) cooked with carnation milk and cheese, both of which we ordered.Crabs here are very fresh as they were live before being cooked. We had ordered two crabs and each costs about RM90.00.Crab meat was very sweet and delicious with the carnation milk but a little spicy with the small green chilly added to the milk. You should also order a plate of toasted bread so that you can dip the bread into the milk and have a delicious snack. The bee hoon was also great and very delicious.

The food is good especially the crabs section but the price is very expensive for a small chinese coffee shop restaurant size.
The time for the food to be serve also takes a long time as i have no idea even there is only 2 or 3 tables only.
If you like crabs, than this is the place but the price is expensive and takes a long time for your food to be serve.

First time went to this restaurant as tripadvisor recommended. We were not sure the size of the food portion there therefore we ordered small size dish as we had 2 ladies 2 men &4 kids in a table. Ended up with bigger size food were served and we couldnt finish all the food. We were told the captain who took our order didnt listen we ordered small size. I don't know is he don't know how to estimate the size of the food to be served or he purposely did that in order to charge us higher price. Is not make sense to serve a table with 4kids with that volumn of food. This made me felt that I was con as a tourist. Total bill around $350. Won't recommend to any friend to Malacca.

If you are sick & tired of Queuing at the popular Tong Sheng restaurant (which only start at 5:30pm) in Malacca. Lee Restaurant (start from 11:30am) is the place to go! For the same price and same menu, you can to enjoy personalise restaurant serving standard, better quantity and quality (better taste) of food.
For example, you can order the same Prawn Cheese Mee Hoon (medium size) at Lee restaurant for MYR $70 (Tong Sheng also MYR $70), you'll get to enjoy bigger prawn, more gravy and better taste. Not to mention much more value for money, as the high class cosy restaurant come with a quiet hotel like environment with soothing music and waitress to top up your tea & change plate for you to compliment your entire dinning experience.
For the same price with a much better service and environment (minus the crazy Q), me & my family will never go back to Tong Sheng.
We are so blessed to be able to found this food heaven. Highly recommend!

Found this place tucked in an area where there are a lot of workshops. The downstairs are mostly catered to tourist buses. I was ushered upstairs where the decor is a lot nicer compared to downstairs. The food is alright considering there arent many Chinese restaurants around where we stayed. One nice touch was they have a live band singing whilst I was there which I thought is rare for a Chinese restaurant. Price-wise is slightly above average but the surrounding was clean and comfortable.

I usually eat at thong sheng, and never try other place for cheese prawn mee hoo. However i have read the review, and give it a try. Their cheese prawn mee hoo really not bad, i think even better than thong sheng. Only the prawn not as big as thong sheng. Other food also accceptable. So next time i got another place can eat in mekaka already.

Each and every time I'm visiting our plant in Melaka I try to make a stop at Lee Restaurant. Always good, tasty and fresh Chinese food.
Quick service
The only downsides: decoration of the place and no English menu (at least I haven't seen one).

Quite surprised to enter the restaurant and find that there isn't a single patron until the waiter told us it is fully reserved and ask us to go upstairs. To our 2nd surprise, the restaurant is nicely lighted and decorated. Food serving also quite nice. Definitely can come.

The boss conduct himself well in the business.
Humble person, care for the customer ensuring they return.
Food were presentable. Basically it is Chinese Peranakan, - fusion of western.
It off the main road of Ayer Keroh with easy parking about 20 minute from Ayer Keroh toll depending on traffic.
