Reviewed yesterday NEW

Went for lunch with my Daughter and decided on the Lemon Tree. Food was excellent friendly staff and overall a pleasure to visit. Will most certainly be back again. Thank you Lemon Tree.

I was treated to breakfast while I was down in Dunmore East. The selection was good. I opted for the poached eggs on Clonakility black pudding potato cakes and home baked ham. It was different and tastey, the fry looked lovely also, nice coffee, but ask for a large coffee as I was given a small coffee which was not... More

Had high hopes but were quite disappointed. Table was dirty, we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Glasses were lip down on dirty table...not exactly inspiring but we persisted...full of hope. Soft drinks arrived to the table in their plastic bottles, no ice. Ketchup and mayonnaise plonked on the table in their original squeezy tubs. Menu itself had... More

We attended the Lemon Tree Restaurant on Good Friday and had a lovely evening with our two young boys. The food was beautiful and so well presented. Fish was both cooked and flavoured to perfection. Both boys had fish goujons which were most generous portions and excellent quality, their chips were truly home made. The atmosphere was lovely with a... More

After doing 5k along the Dunmore Cliff walk the Lemon Tree was in prime position for enjoying some lunch. The restaurant has a great menu and the specials board was so extensive I had to take a photo of it in order to review (as we sat outside). I had the cockles to start which were amazing. I grew up... Group of friends for dinner!! Wasn't expecting to be as good as it was . Been here a few times for lunch and it's very nice , but we went for dinner Friday and the starter was excellent. The main course was just top quality and really impressive, I couldn't fault it. Really good wine !! Only thing that let... More

Something different and there is a nice choice of food and laid back feeling with papers to read. The seating is really uncomfortable especially the upright bench type seats. The main courses were good and made fresh, we did not have desert as they looked tired and clearly not made on the day we visited.

Family morning breakfast, quite busy so had to wait, but was worth it. You can get your traditional fry up if you want, but I had poached eggs on baked ham with roast mushroom and trimmings, would happily revisit and recommend.

Only found this restaurant by accident - looking about Dunmore East could see nothing open and on leaving the pier saw a sign for restaurant up the coast road - this was a great surprise they had a most extensive menu with a great emphasis on seafood which was fresh off some boat and simply delicious- I had Thai Monkfish...
