Went for lunch a couple of days ago. This really is a first class restaurant. We were greeted by a charming smiling waitress who showed us to our table and continued to look after us beautifully throughout the meal. We had the menu del dia plus a bottle of wine,40E for two,not the cheapest in Alicante but certainly the best I... More

In terms of quality, this was the best meal of our 17 night stay in Spain. In terms of value for money, this was one of our best meals ever! Incredible value at E13.50 for 4 courses plus olives, bread and a nice glass of dry white wine. The restaurant was only open at lunch during our 3 night stay... More

It's always good to wander around in the barrio in Alicante, drop into a bar on the way for a carajillo. Another good thing about the restaurant is that it's just behind the cathedral on calle San Nicolas, so really easy to find, the barrio can be a bit mazy... I liked the simplicity of the menu, basically 4 different... More

We had done some research on TA and this place came out well so we decided to try it out for lunch. We were not disappointed a meal of the day for 4 people plus a bottle of wine for 70 euro is a bargain. A salad followed by a starter then a main and a sweet with canape and... More

I think this is the finest restaurant in Alicante. We have eaten here many times over many years and the food ambiance and fine wine never disappoints! The Menu works on the Spanish 'menu' system so it is a choice of set dinners. So you will choose a menu that includes all your dinning although if there is something you... More

L'Atelier has an unassuming facade but hides a feast of culinary delight. The interior retains the charm of the original stone work. the style however is undoubtedly modern in appearance. We received a warm welcome and excellent guidance on the menu choices . I asked for a local wine choice wine from our server and we were delighted with a... More

I am still shocked how good the Day Menu has been. We have tried it for few days. The food tasted divine, looked and has been really cheap compering with other restaurants! Once you try it- you do not want to go to any other place, just keep coming back :) Make sure to book a table, as the place... More

Before traveling to Alicante this restaurant was our No. 1 spot to visit for dinner and we were not disappointing when we arrived. The place feels fancy, more like fine dining, when you see the cutlery, how the tables are set and such, but the prices tell a completely different thing. The staff is minimal, but very friendly, happy and... More
