Visited the "tapas" downstairs part of the restaurant for lunch with my wife. It does get very busy, but be patient and a waiter will sort you our a place in the end. Excellent ham, seafood dishes and good wines available. It is a very popular place for Spanish people and may seem confusing for people not used to this... More

At 1.30pm lunchtime, my wife and I were shown through the very busy tapas bar downstairs to be seated in the empty restaurant upstairs, which within half an hour, was packed without a spare seat to be had! Once seated, we didn't get off to a good start however, with 4/5 waiters loitering around like a wake of idle vultures,... More

Upstairs is a large and very smart restaurant with several separate dining rooms. On the ground floor is a very bustling tapas bar and in truth I think we would have been better dining there. Much of the menu upstairs contained items that seemed a little too exotic/off the wall for our taste and we decided it was not worth... More

they were not at all full for lunch on a weekday but the place is huge. the ony fault with the service was that they did not manage to bring the three starters at the same time. The "tataki de pez limon" is a jack of the hamachi family and was fine. the salad of partridge with foie gras fine... More

You can go to this restaurant and take tapas downstairs and restaurant meals upstairs. The food is not cheap but neither is the quality - awesome range and simply delicious. This restaurant has been providing great food for many, many years but go early because it does get packed

I am living in Alicante for 4 months now and went to a lot of restaurants. Having a celebration, I decided to try Nou Manolin, which was on my list for a long time, being part of ViaMichelin guide. Overall impression: it just misses the point. Wants to be an upscale place, with exquisite food, failing on both. Food: -... More

The menu was badly translated for English. . an insult to Google. The food once worked out was small luke warm and over priced. 2 x king prawn 18 euro.. no side dish.. just 2 lonely prawns on a plate.. I took a pic from the menu for deserts..

The waiters are too distressed, or possibly can't speak any foreign language, to explain the complex and badly structured menu. Like in so many mediocre restaurants, "medium" cooked appears to be "rare". Over-estimated place.
