80's style miserable service and food to match. It was once a bit of a local landmark but there is much better to be found nearly.

I've been more than one time to the scaletta restaurant and every time i found a very good food. Something like house and genuine food. You can have from monday to friday
The place was packed with Italian families at Sunday lunchtime (booking essential). The hard-working waitress gave us good service despite the pressure. It's what I think of as Granny's Cooking: simple, unpretentious good-quality food. They cater mainly to locals so you will need some restaurant...More

It's a nice location with a beautiful view. Just some minutes away from the city Centre of Sarzana. You only have the choice beteren Italian food. The service was nice, really fast and very tasteful.

La Scaletta offers incredible value for money. 2 can eat there for 30 euro in total including water, wine and coffee. The service is very friendly and efficient. They provide tyical local cuisine and the restaurant is usually full of local people.
My Italian family uses to go to this restaurant a couple of times a year. You get a lot of food and it's really cheap, but do not expect a fancy restaurant! It's like eating at your grandma, same kind of food and same fanciness...More
