Constant quality and nice location

We have been here before. But again, quality of the food was very decent. the side dishes are simple, french fries and some vegetable. But main dishes are good. We had a tournedos which was grilled excellent, and a Dutch flat fish called 'tongschar', which was very good too. This is a restaurant where you can also choose just a main dish and eat enough. However, the icecreams are very nice too(:

Great menu - great location

This our second time visiting. Love the location and the menu selection. Salad is very nice and good size. The drink selection is good. Different terraces in front and back of the restaurant.

We stopped here along the water to grab a quick lunch. We ordered the dual hamburger dish to share. It had to be the poorest quality beef I’ve had in the years I’ve lived in the Netherlands. Walk further into town for a better place to eat.

Good restaurant with nice terraces in the front and back

This is a nice place to stop for a dinner. Main courses - many fish dishes - are good and come with simple french fries and a salad. if you order in advance they also serve a fab lobster for a reasonable price!

Romantic and perfect!

Me and my boyfriends anniversary falls on the 15th which this year was a sunday, so we decided to go out for dinner the 14th instead. We both feared this dreadfully as we know this is on Valentines day and non of us care for this day or have any interest in it. My boyfriend booked at this place as he thought it looked nice. We took a walk around the cozy city first and to our horror, all the restaurants and bars has cute heart shaped balloons and decorations!! We arrived at the restaurant not really knowing what to expect. We came in and a sweet lady sat us at our table which was tall with tall chairs. We where VERY happy with everything. NO cute decorations! Just beautiful set tables and a very talented musician playing with a keyboard. He played to perfection songs of Elton John and other great artists. Very cozy and romantic without being over the top which was exactly what we looked for. We went for the valentines menu as it had the food we where most interested in. We got a nice welcome drink before our starter which was a delicious tapas selection. After that we got a even more tasty main course. For dessert they came with a big cake platter where you could chose from some different small cakes! It was so cute and very tasty. The red wine we got with our main course was also very suiting for what we ate. Everything was a perfect evening for us on our day. Thank you for a magical evening!

We had dinner here on Friday. We came from Eindhoven. We have been sitting here... We ordered an iced tea and chardonnay with ice cubes. Then we ordered a delicious fish salad (with carpaccio) and tenderloin. Super delicious.. The bread that came with it was only very dry I did not eat this and passed it on to the waitress. Finally, dessert and I have another glass of wine. And now comes the best part I forgot to ask with ice cubes. But the lady from the service who had been super friendly all evening came to bring my wine WITH ice cubes... I think that's service... Then you see your guests.... Doesn't happen often anymore. When we entered we looked our eyes what a beautiful restaurant.. Cozy, beautiful, atmospheric and cozy. We will have to go up and down to that side of Eindhoven more often in the coming period. We will definitely be back again. We have already decided that if the weather gets dark earlier we will enjoy six inside at once. So dear owner you can be happy with the hospitality topper who served the terrace on Friday. She herself knows this is about her I told her myself.. Greetings from Eindhoven

Something for everyone!

Walked in without a reservation, there was still room for two. Extensive menu with something for everyone. Delicious food, friendly service and afterwards we were asked how we had found it; Delicious! We will definitely come back!

Richly filled salad with delicious gluten-free bread

Delicious rich salad. A really nice large portion with lots of vegetables, we had the Boothuis and Riche salad. Both excellent. What I personally liked most was the gluten-free bread. 5 delicious dark brown slices of bread, nice and warm, separately on a plate with your own delicious butter added. Simply well organised, and the tastiest bread I ever ate in a restaurant! They also had white bread if desired, but I recommend the brown bread. I would go back for it in a heartbeat.

Very neat restaurant with a good menu for a good price. Spare ribs were very good, recommended! Schnitzel was fine, it was a safe choice.

Service made us wait a long time, lady was friendly, food was scandalous. Ordered a brown slice of carpaccio and a brown slice of ham, carpaccio was roast beef, ham to be determined, really very bad, very expensive!!!!

Been coming here for a number of years, but lately the service has left much to be desired. The waiter doesn't see you, but stands at the entrance chatting with a colleague. This has been happening more and more often lately. On my last visit, many tables were still full of glasses and plates from the previous guests. Unfortunately I left after waiting 20 minutes and as I think about it now, this was the last time I stopped here for a drink.

Management is bad. Had to ask twice for menu. Food was fine. My wife had two croquettes that were served with the red, but I had to order an extra plank of bread with my portion of bitterballen ??!! I had drunk a small beer and my wife had a latte and a glass of tap water. They charged €0.50 for that glass of water. Scandalous. I have NEVER experienced being charged for a glass of tap water in the Netherlands. And another big negative is that I didn't get the bill. I had to ask specifically for it. I wonder how much tax money disappears under the table. The owner of this restaurant really needs to intervene here.
