Was looking for good ramen place near Tokyo station and came across "Ramen Street" in Tokyo station.. takes some finding in maze of shops in basement level.. Rokurnisha has a long queue outside it.. stood in queue, took about 45 mins to get place.. surprising though as I had gone at 5 PM (neither lunch hour nor dinner still was... More

Located on the infamous Ramen Street of Tokyo Station this restaurant has gained global fame from the research wife and I had read prior to arrival - and the queue is evident if this. Staff are very friendly and English speaking and very accommodating to tourists. Ordering is via a Ramen machine which then a token is produced - very... More

We lined up from 1030am for the 11am sitting. By 1045am, the queue had already snaked around the corner so come at a strategic time to minimize the waiting. As with most little restaurants one will choose the meal from the vending machine. The machine accepts the 10,000 yen note and gives change so no worries about that. Many of... More

Probably the best ramen I ate in 2 months traveling around Japan. Thick, tasty broth that you'll be dreaming of for weeks to come. Portions are huge and extremely filling. Yes, the line is long, but waiting in long lines for some authentic Japanese ramen is an experience you must have while in Japan!! Best to head there off hours... More

This is one of the Ramen shop in the Tokyo Ramen Street under Tokyo Station. This one seems to be most popular since it has the longest line and longest wait. Well, we waited...for about 40 minutes to be able to get a seat. The soup base is good. Thick and tasty. Only thing to be aware of is the... More

I think it is called Tsukemen noodle dish. really really big bowl... More

Great place for dipping ramen. The noodles are fabulous. They are a bit thicker than normal but have a great taste. Would love to try it in a traditional broth though.

Best ramen I've ever had 1) I can see why it's the #6 of 6,254 restaurants here - though at $9 each, I wouldn't argue against rating it higher 2) It's tsukemen style: you dip the al dente ramen in extra rich broth and can thus calibrate the mix to your liking - ALL ramen should be eaten like this... Had tsukemen ramen for breakfast, not once but twice! The tsukemen was so delicious that we came here twice for breakfast. Being from the US, we were very jet-lagged when we were in Tokyo. Not many places are open at 730am for food, and since we wanted ramen we took the metro here twice from Shiodome. The food was great,... More

Very nice tsukemen. Very well presented and taste good. A little too salty I must admit. Waitress or hostess was very rude, which is not normal in Japan. Would I go there again, may be?
