Lines were shut down at some of the premiere establishments at 6am in the morning, thus we wandered around and found this restaurant for our sushi breakfast Gentlemen outside made it appear we would be next in line by moving us to the right side and towards the front but that was to take our order which in some ways... Had some of my best sushi here. They serve sashimi in a bowl filled with rice underneath. Nothing too fancy buy extremely tasty had different types of tuna. All great slices. Didn't taste the salmon. It was a really great experience. I recommend it. Maybe westerns will find it less interesting because of what fusion did to them. This is... More

Not sure why some reviewers encountered bad experiences here, but fortunately for my wife and I, we had great meals here. Maybe it was because we came here really early, like around 5:30am, hence the seafood was still really fresh. Already the queues were long even at this early hour. Not the cheapest sashimi around, but definitely worth the price.

My first visit 3 years back gave me a good impression of the place. I loved their salmon that time and it got me hooked on Chirashi. This time around, I ordered tuna and salmon chirashi. The salmon was good but the tuna served was not the good part of the fish that made it hard to chew. I will... More

My bad for walking around outside the market in the alleyway and not finding this resturant Queue just started at 10ish am Waited about 40mins in line Where the old ladies offer you umbrellas to block off the sun When you are nearly there you can order your food. Got two 8 variety kaisendon and 1 sashimi without rice. The... More

We chose this place as it was the busiest out of all the surrounding restaurants which were either empty or only had a few people in. There was a small queue so we placed our order with the lady standing outside the shop who was extremely nice (she's the one on the right, standing closest to the camera in the... More

On a previous visit, I had committed to eating at Sushi Dai (which was worth the wait) but this was unrealistic with a family of four with two novice sushi/sashimi eaters. After some circumspection of the outer market area, we selected Kaisendon Ooedo, since it seemed like it had a wider choice of options with mid-range prices (set meals usually... More

If you're looking for an alternative to the famous Sushi Dai, give this place a try. Most of the menu starts as pre-defined sets. Don't be intimidated, you can change any of the items. I added Uni, changed the Toro to Chu Toro, and added Hamachi. No problems. The prices were affordable, and at 7AM when you don't want to... More

After the 2-hour wait for the tuna auction the last thing I wanted another couple hours wait for a sushi on the market. This restaurant does not serve sushi, but has great fish-over-rice (surely there is a proper name for this dish) dishes. All food comes with the usual soup and tea. I went for yellowtail (seasonal fish) & tuna... More

I went here with a a couple of colleagues during our work trip to Tokyo. The food was surprisingly really good, their sushi breakfast as just so fresh, fish was moist and full of flavour. The service was just over the top! Staff spoke good English and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. They deserve a great... More
