We had read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor and thought we would give it a whirl. We found it tucked away down in a basement, as with a lot of restaurants in Japan, the entrances are hidden away down corridors or alleyways that dont look particularly inviting, but once you arrive inside this restaurant, the long cooking station greeted... Having ate at a lot of expensive restaurants in Japan already, we wanted to try teppanyaki but didn't want to spend a fortune. Teppanyaki ten we thought was excellent value. The food was good quality but didn't break the bank. Their wagyu beef of course was the star! The fried rice was incredible! We had some seafood and vegetables as... More

Great, fresh food but portion are small. Chefs really know how to cook the beef. Service staff are very polite and nice.

Restaurant recommended by our hotel concierge. So we asked him to book for 7:30pm. It was fully booked so the restaurant asked us to come at 8:30pm. As soon as we ordered, the different dishes arrived in rapid succession without enough time for us to finish the current dish. So we asked to slow down, as we like to eat... More

I ate at Teppanyaki Ten during my last business trip to Tokyo. We were a party of ten people and the table we were given was not in the middle of the room, so in a more relaxed area. The food quality was excellent, but the size of the courses is limited. I would call them "extended tasting portions" :-)... More

Finding Japanese restaurants in Tokyo was always a challenge. No English name at the entrance made finding them a little difficult. However we made good use of using the Japanese printing of the name that TripAdvisor provide with their restaurant information. We would give our taxi driver the printout of the name and never had any problems. We found the... More

Teppanyaki Ten was upon the recommendation of the hotel crew of Millenium Mitsukoshi Garden. They serve good teppanyaki according to him so we gave it a try since its just 5 minutes from our hotel. When we entered the restaurant, the staff greeted us with courtesy as we were escorted to our chair. Since restaurant is a smoking restaurant, we... More

We ordered the premium menu which had both the abalone and lobster. 10 dishes in total: starter, sea urchin open sushi roll, prawn, foi gras, abalone, lobster, kobe beef, garlic fried rice, miso soup, dessert. Not huge serving size but you are quite full by the end. Coming from Australia where lobster is currently a super expensive commodity, it was... More

Had a good night here with some friends after seeing the good reviews. It wasn't cheap so maybe make it a special occasion, on the other hand, the food was definitely worth it. We sat at the bar and watched them make everything which was pretty fun! Got a few dishes between us, beautiful melt-in-your-mouth sirloin steak, gorgeous tuna, mixed... More
