We ate here two nights running we enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service so much. The menu selection is terrific and being served in a themed setting from the Edo period made it a little more interesting. When we paid the bill (most reasonable) on our first visit we asked about a booking for the next night. This was arranged.... More

A wide range of options here that will suit any palette. We had a seafood soup, horse sashimi (amazingly tender), dried fish and duck. The setting is of traditional Japan with individual booths and wood finishing. The only downfall was our soup came with an insect so we had to return it but I would think this is not representative... More

The restaurant is quite beautiful. Had a room upstairs for 11 pax. Service was not so good. Had to go out and call the service staff. Gyoza was quite nice. They have freshly made soba which was quite good, Beef and sashimi was not as good. Quite inexpensive but should have gone elsewhere for better food quality and service.

This is near a row of restaurants so a lot of choice. We came here because we were recommended. Was disappointed that they didn't have enough sashimi and i would have liked. Having said that we really liked the food. The gyoza pie was it favourite. The chilled tomato was good. The other dish was really good was this fried... More

There are plenty of restaurants on this street in Ginza and we have chosen Tofuro randomly. Food quality is average, service speed is a bit slower than average and language is problem when you want to order. I would have chosen another one if I knew all those.

When visiting Tokyo I often walk along Ginza corridor - lots of restaurants. From the street, you can see through a window at Tofuro and watch them make soba noodles. I went in for dinner on a Saturday and service was good and Tempura soba and a long, thin spring roll like appetizer were good enough for me to return... More

We had just arrived after a 12 hour flight. The hotel clerk suggested Tufuro before the jet lag set in. We enjoyed the experience. Excellent micro brew beer on draft, Beringer cab Sauvignon by the glass. Multitudinous choices of food with pictures and English descriptions suggests that one could get just about anything you desired. Food quality was adequate but... More

Enjoyed the evening dinner at Tofuro but it was a bit salty for my tastes. We tried a bit of everything including shellfish, Tempura, etc. Good beer and interesting seating arrangement. Well worth a visit but if you go ask for cooking using less salt.

Thank Doug G
