Our family of 7 initially reserved for the shabu-shabu but changed our minds to Steak and Grill at site. Reason: Steak and Grill was more accessible to our senior family member. The steak quality was top grade so ordering a 200-gm portion could satisfy 2 women. The price is not for the frugal and there are table charges, so it... More

Perhaps the price should've been expected as good beef and sushi is always expensive in Tokyo. Found the food to be very good, but nothing amazing. At roughly $100 per person for a small strip of steak in a light coursed menu, there are definitely better values out there.

Had a dinner with my colleagues on a Fri evening after a grueling week in Shanghai and Tokyo. A great private dinning experience at this multi story shabu shabu place. The staff was very hospitable. The private dinning room was very comfortable too. Had the overall shabu shabu experience over some warm sake on a cold and rainy day! The... More

I've always thought of sukiyaki as an inelegant dish or a stew that is unceremoniously dumped in front of you with a bunch of beers and so I was not expecting much when I tried this restaurant under my sister's recommendation. For those used to stew-type sukiyaki, this is a totally different experience. The set menu provides and appetizer and... More

Another Tokyo must visit. Once you have gotten over your sushi fix expand your horizons to the wonderful experience of Sukiyaki. We started with delicious entrees of Yakatori, Tempura and sushi. We then entered the gastronomical heaven of traditional Sukiyaki. Very traditional venue and staff but some speak excellent English. Highly recommended.

I was disappointed with Rangetsu. Although the hotel recommended it, I later felt just a little fooled as I felt I wasn't being sent to the type of experience I had wanted, but I should have been much more clear with the type of experience I was looking for. My first night in Tokyo, and I was craving either Shabu... More

This was a fun thing to do for lunch. The steak was delicious and so were the vegetables. It is not a real hardy meal so you may want a snack later. The noodles were quite hard to pick up with chop sticks.

Of a very old heritage established in 1947, this restaurant serves popular Japanese cuisine as well as some Asian fusion dishes. The special set menu we had for lunch had an interesting dish consisting of chick peas more like an Asian dish. The meat was tender and of good quality. All dishes were tasty and served by kimono dressed waitresses... More

This restaurant serves very good sukiyaki and Shabu Shabu. The beef is really delicious and comes with fresh vegetables. We had a private room. Service was good and attentive.
