Tucked away in the basement of a shotengai (shopping district) in Akabane was a hidden gem that came highly recommended by a friend. Food was great and had real authentic Asian flavours. I visited this cosy place as it was highly recommended by a Japanese friend. It helps to satisfy your craving for Asian food especially if u were in Japan for a long period of time.. Haha delicious fusion Asian food found in Japan! Didn't manage to take photos bcos we gobbled the food once they came.. = P

In Akabane and Itabashi, visitors can get a glimpse of the ordinary day-to-day life of Tokyo. On the east side of Akabane station, there are many traditional shopping districts and small izakayas, while on the west side, there’s a modern shopping mall. Itabashi is currently being developed as a residential area with a huge 1.1km long shopping street that extends from east to west.
