Awesome place for cheap drinks and food. Awesome yakiniku and a wide variety on the menu. Also open super late so always good if you miss the last train.

A barbecue resto. But the place is so noisy. It is like you are in a market place. We didnt get to enjoy our food because of the noise.

This is a tourist oriented restaurant which specializes in yakiniku/ Japanese barbecue done buffet style. There are side dishes, the salad, chicken nuggets, nuts, and the endless serving of sausages, beef , chicken and pork placed on an improvised grill placed at the center table. Our group had cola, juice and iced water for our drinks but we had to... More

Pretty interesting restaurant. First the food was very good, we tried several dishes but the best part was barbequeing various meat and vegetables on a propance cooker in the center of the table. That was fun and it tasted great. Service was not that good as we several times had to wait and grab our waiter. Secondly, my friend I... More

Amataro is very tourist-friendly, with a welcoming, friendly staff. Even though there was a constant influx of people throughout the night, we were seated fairly quickly. As soon as you walk in to the dining area, you are greeted with sounds of laughter and spirited conversation, which added to Amataro’s energetic atmosphere. Amataro caters to the younger, hip crowd with... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
