A tiny place, with tables crammed close together and full of chain-smokers. Difficult, if not impossible to taste the food. The staff say it is better at dinnertime than at lunch, when I went, but after my first experience I won't be giving it a second chance. On the plus side, it is very cheap.

I recommend this place near to Shibuya Station! I am Peruvian so I can say that this is real Peruvian food not fusion, so I enjoyed. My favorites were papa a la huancaina, ceviche, arroz con mariscos, and chicha morada. Little but cozy restaurant with Peruvian chef.

For excellent Peruvian cuisine in Tokyo, Miraflores is a great option. This is not a fusion restaurant - it is straight up Peruvian fare in Tokyo where the decor matches the food. Food is prepared in a style true to typical Peruvian dishes such as ceviche and papas a la huancaina. Our seafood and fish dishes were exceptional in flavor.... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
