I had an amazing time here. Firstly, the place looks unbelievable, going down the stairs to get to the restaurant, tables and the walls. All together I felt I'm in Tijuana! Loved the atmosphere, staff were super friendly, food was great.

The atmosphere is somewhat Mexican but this is one of the worst Mexican food I have ever had. We paid 10,929 yen for 2 people, and we're never coming here again. Firstly, we made a reservation, walked in, and they made us stand right in the middle of the restaurant for several minutes. We were in the way of all... More

It is not typical TeX-Mex restaurants in Japan. It's more Authentic Mexican restaurant. Love the atmosphere and foods.I feel like I'm in a restaurant in Somewhere in Mexico.Love the Mariachi band as well. It's Little bit expensive but will definitely go back.

This is by far the worst restaurant I've ever been in Tokyo. Shocking! The men's toilet was overflowing with urine and with no attempt from the staff to clean it. So bad that it actually went over anyone's shoes who went in the toilet. The food itself? Dire. Overpriced. Not tasty at all. The bill came and they had overcharged... More

I love this restaurant. The atmosphere, mariachi singers' performance at each table, and the food were awesome!!!! I keep going back there to try new dishes every time and I still have a lot to go!! I loooooove the Machiachi performance. The thing is the servers are not very satisfying unfortunately. They brought us drinks not knowing what they were.... More

Random craving for Mexican food turned into a great night for the wife and I. The servers knew exactly when we were done with a course and had the next one ready to go. Wasn't expecting to have great Mexican in Tokyo.

This restaurant is a wonderful surprise . . . you descend several flights of stairs from street level and the environment gets more Mexican with each step! We loved the fun and festive atmosphere, the roving mariachi band, and the delicious food. Had nachos and stuffed peppers for starters, then carnitas, a chicken mole dish and a flattened steak dish.... More

If you enjoy Mexican food, you will surely find Fonda to be a charming experience that fulfills that craving for great Mexican. The tacos I had for dinner were very good and full of flavor. The guacamole was amazing and the margaritas were fantastic and strong. Service was great and the musician who roamed around playing authentic mariachi music was... More

Tonight I visited for the third time. The first time was a dinner with girlfriends and I don't recall service being a huge problem that time, although that could be because I was busy chatting so it wasn't as noticeable. The second time, my husband and I went for dinner and the service was so slow that my husband said... More

Located underground in the place you would never expect such a spacious and atmospheric restaurant. I was all the time wondering what was located in these huge rooms before. Service is really good; Waiters seem too busy at times but they are really doing their best. No complaints here. The food is Huge. And delicious! It is not the cheapest... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
