I had a soba croissant, which was savory, tasty and had a nice crispy, flaky texture, not in a traditional croissant form. I also had the unique-to-Tokyo Mr Roboto, which was a sugar-crusted but with a creamy filling. It was nice, (the filling was a...More

Come to think of it, I have never seen/bought a tiramisu (lit. pick-me-up) at Dominque Ansel, but when I feel somewhat tired and down, this bakery is the source of my sugary-pick-me-up. Some people might not be so lucky, but whenever, I swing by, a...More

The coffee was good but my pastry was so sweet and heavy. I was alone so only got one item. Matcha passion fruit was not for me.

You only wish that you can eat more desserts and cakes as it is so delicious! Be in time because the specials sell out fast! Enough seating upstairs! Also take-a-way!

From New York to Tokyo, the famous Frozen S'more was worth a line-up. It was very crowded when we went in a weekend afternoon. After a 20-minute wait, we finally got a piece to try! IT WAS DELICIOUS! The caramelized frozen marshmallow with chocolate ice-cream,...More

I think this place has not beem upkeep as it should be. Seatings are dirty and service is too casual for the price they charged. With plastic utentils to eat bread is just a bad execution. Bakery taste is also too artificial for this kind...More

Amazing pastries! I was only in Tokyo a week and would have gone every day if I could! The cheese twist bread and cronut (pictured) in particular are fantastic! Good coffee as well. Definitely worth a visit

Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.

The nearest station is Omotesando, 5 mins walk. But also you can use Meijijingumae station and Harajuku station too. It will take less than 10 mins.

Description
From the most celebrated bakery in New York, we are excited to be in Japan! We believe in creating a next generation bakery where we can present fresh and modern takes on French and New York desserts. We change our menu regularly so that we can always bring new ideas to our guests and push ourselves to grow. Chef Ansel won many Awards before, but most recently he won "The Best Pastry Chef 2017" by "The World 50 Best" in Melbourne. This is a place where you can enjoy the most creative pastries in the world that you can not find it anywhere in the world.
