We dropped in, and was hardly welcome. Put in a booth and ordered som fancy meat, (waguyn sirloin) to grill on the table (they give you a charcoalgrill) but it was too much fat so that started to burn and the meat didnt turn out as great as it should. The service was terrible, and we didnt get to order... More

Since all the booths have vent hoods, didn't experience any smoke issues. Loved that they use charcoal braziers for cooking, gives a different flavor than the gas rings. Had a nice dinner, the meats had good flavor, we tried three different cuts. Loved the salad with the soft poached egg. Liked the sakes that we picked.

This is the worst restaurant, service was at it worst, food never served completely, no one attend to you and quality of food was bad for the price you are paying.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
