I tried pizza and spaghetti here! Size of dishes were small (like anything in Japan) but the taste was too good. Prize is expensive as usually in Japan. If I have chance, I will come back here even if there are a lot of delicious traditional Japanese dishes in Tokyo.

Stopped in for a coffee after visiting the nearby shrine. Excellent coffee, great service and good croissants. Very relaxed place and will use other Prontos during my Tokyo visit for sure.

Some 20 minutes on the train from Shinjuku is Pronto in Chiyoda in Hibiya Library. Very nice place, great monetary value.

We came here on our first night in Tokyo, we were after a bit of a Japanese experience but not too harsh so choose this little place as it had an English sub-titled menu and recognisable dishes. Okay, I speak basic Japanese enough to order most things but I was very happy with the welcome from this place. It's food... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
