Just what we needed after a long day strolling in Ueno! Great price 500 yen you can't go wrong, so tasty and the staff were very friendly.

I heard a lot about this restaurant online. It's in busy Ueno area. The Kebab was cheap (500 JPY) but nice taste. Besides the location give you a non-japanese flavor. There are many foreigners and the management of seats on the road remind me my home city Dhaka.

I have had Kabobs in the States, Munich and UK, but the ones at Mozesus's are the best. I have been here a couple of times over the years and when downtown make it a point to have a Kabob here. If you are near Ueno station, check it out.

This has got to be the best kebab in Tokyo. Been coming here since he opened in around 2004. Price is always the same at 500 yen per kebab. Staff are friendly and very funny at times. Can speak multiple languages and are very entertaining. He's got 4 locations in Tokyo, three in Ameyoko and one in Akihabara. Don't be... More

Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
