We had the fantastic fillet of beef and rack of lamb - but it was the starters that blew us away. The salt cod pate on chips I could've eaten until the cows came home, and the locally sourced scallops with Jools' own blackpudding is mind blowing. The full English breakfast is the best I've ever eaten. Perfect.

My wife and I dined here - we were staying in the hotel. The food was excellent and much of it was either home made and/or locally sourced. My wife is gluten free and they made it clear which dishes were approriate I highly recommend the Pilgrims at Lovington.

A lovely high quality restaurant serving excellent food! Personal service and lovely feel. We have also been their with family. Can suit a lot of different occasions. Jools and Sally are only too happy to help with any requirements. A little gem!

Visited NYE with my sister & husbands. My sister lives locally & had been before several times & had recommended the food. It did not disappoint! The tempura prawns were amazing, beautifully fresh, crispy & even the lettuce was divine, as was the dip. I chose the lamb, which was so tender. Wasn't sure on the beetroot & very al... More

We have driven past the Pilgrims many times en route to Glastonbury, or the local cattery, and back again and enjoyed the witty chalkboards placed either end of the traffic lights and resolved that one day we should book up a table with friends and find out what happens inside the building. When we pitched up on a dark Winter's... More

We stayed for two nights here. Lovely room in a converted coach house. Great bathroom, comfy bed and everything you could need for a good stay. Breakfast was excellent quality and cooked to order. We also ate in the restaurant on one of the evenings. The menu isn't vast because everything is lovingly prepared with the emphasis on quality. The... More

Superb food. Nice atmosphere. Vegetables were a little overcooked for my liking. A little overpriced too.

This used to be our favourite restaurant when we lived in the area. We returned recently to find the food is now better than ever. If it is on the menu you absolutely have to go for the pilgrims on horseback. Jools home made black pudding is the best I have ever tasted. The monkfish and scallop combination is something... More
