Good service all evening contributed to a fun family get together. As ever the food was good even without trying the "optional extras". We were seated promptly on arrival and drinks were quickly ordered. Starters and mains were ordered when the drinks arrived. Despite the busyness of the restaurant on the evening we went we were never left waiting.

This restaurant was brilliant. It was a really fun dining experience for the whole family, even my kids loved it. Food is great value and you can eat as much as you like. Can't wait to go back!

Visited on a Saturday night. Restaurant was quite busy but service was friendly and efficient. Definitely not a meal to be rushed as you, obviously, spend time "cooking" your own main! Not something my other half is used to......cooking his own food!!!! But even he enjoyed it all and the side dishes were tasty and well presented. The only small... More

As it was my first time, I wasn't sure what to expect. However with their incredible friendly staff I was quickly put at ease. The service was quick and efficient yet still maintained a very personable and warm approach. With a range of starters I was spoils for choice, I went for the terrine which was enjoyable but having stolen... More

We had heard good things from a number of people about this place and decided to visit as we also had a spree voucher which meant it worked out relatively cheap. The decor and atmosphere was nicer than expected and for a Wednesday it was surprisingly busy! So make sure you book in advance! The waitress who looked after us... More

Had a three course meal with coffee/tea plus 3 hours entertainment at Potters Theatre all for £30 per head. Once again the staff were first rate, the food was excellent. You did not have to ask for the main dishes to be replenished, the staff asked you. The after dinner entertainment was as good as a West End Production. A thoroughly... More

This is the first time I have been to the Black Rock and I was not disappointed From the start, the waiter was very informative on 'proceedings' for the meal and was in regular attendance throughout the meal to see if there was anything we required - not just for us to buy more drinks, but to offer more of... I attended The Black Rock Grill for the first time yesterday, with my wife. I am a huge fan of grilled meats and fish, but my wife is a little less keen. We both had exactly the same meals; calamari for starter, meat and fish grill with included side orders, sweet fondue for desert and a hot drink to round... More
