Spanish restaurants often open late for dinner. In Sweden we are used to dine earlier. El Cruse is open all day so we decided to have dinner there at six. In contrast to the usualy crowded lunchtime it quiet and only the smaller dining room was used. We could enjoy our quail in peace. As always there were large portions... More

Me and my friend from Mallorca had a great lunch there. It was more than filling and delicious. Especially the fideos and the brut soup. I also enjoyed the cooked snails! I hope this review will not cause tourists like myself to overcrowd the place as it is already overrun by natives....by the way a good sign. Come for an... More

As have been said before: When looking for a god local restaurant for lunch stop at one with many lorries. This is indeed the case with El Cruce next to the roundabout with an exit to Petra on the Ma-15. The parking is always filled at lunchtime and you often have to queue up to get a table. Don´t despair,... More

Even though it is incredibly busy; this restaurant is more like a huge canteen, so no romantic atmosphere to be expected!, the service is fast and efficient. This is probably the most efficient staff we have ever seen! Good food for money.

Don't expect Michelin start portions! You need you be ready to eat properly! On the first sight the restaurant might seem a bit basic but always full car park persuaded us to give it a go. And since then we were coming every second day. It is honest good farmer food. The taste of the grilled meat is exceptional. I... More

Pure Mallorquinan food (so difficult to find around the touristic coast ) at an inexpensive price. A very popular place for locals! Don't expect a gourmet restaurant but the food is excellent for the price. A must if you want to have a taste of the truly Mallorquinan culture. Try the "cargols" (snales), arròs brut or "guatlera", for dessert the... More
