Had a fantastic bap breakfast here, delicious and great value. Cosy cafe beside the car park with beach nearby. Very welcoming and dog friendly.

The always friendly staff serving up good food in a unique building and garden with a heated cabin with real fire in the winter to keep people warm.

Really disappointed, wish we had chosen another cafe on the seafront. The staff were lovely & facilities great, dog friendly & good choice of food. However, really expensive & not value for money at all. £9 for a jacket potato with cheese & beans &...tiny pot of coleslaw, £6 for a tiny panini & £4 for a tiny bowl of chips. No salad with the panini or potato. We knew the prices before we ordered of course, but assumed there would be more, given the price. Definitely not going back.More

Visited on a gloriously warm October day and enjoyed lunch in the Walled Garden. The staff were very accommodating as there were four of us and they moved some chairs around so we could all sit together. Two of us had the carrot, butterbean and...coriander soup that came with a bread roll and we both enjoyed it. Our menfolk only had cake that they also said was good. Tea was served in tiny china cups that were very pretty. We all enjoyed our experience.More

Was made to feel very uncomfortable by rude staff as we didn't have the the exact amount of money, shame as it used to be a lovely place to visit.

My partner and I visited the café 2 days ago, we ordered a tuna and cheese panini each, the quality was awful. The panini was small and the content of the panini was minimal, the tuna and cheese were a really cheap quality, with a...few stale crisps as a garnish!!! The café is in a prime location, lovely setting it was such a shame our visit to Sandsend was tarnished by visiting this place, very disappointing and at £6.50 EACH. Surely people running the business should have some pride in the product they serve to the paying customer, clearly not here. We are not 'posh' people but couldn't help feeling we had been robbed in broad daylight. I feel I had to share this as I suggest you avoid this place, and choose more wisely as to were you spend your money.More

The menu is slimmed down very much from a few years ago,,The egg mayo is a cheap supermarket product not made at the cafe, other items no longer served..I aid last time in 2018 it would be sometime before I visited again..certainly not any time...soon.More

After so many months of drinking out of plastic cups and eating off paper plates , to walk in and have china cups and saucers was a real treat. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The poor young man who showed us to our table,...only to find someone else had vacated theirs because this one looked better, soon found us somewhere else to sit. The food we ordered was lovely, and we thought that what we had represented good value for money.More

You don't need to read a lot of reviews to spot the theme for this place. I only wish I had read these before visiting for a bite to eat and a brew. The sandwich was awful, either the ingredients were the cheapest of the...cheap or they were past their best. I won't be returning, lots of good cafe's in Whitby, give this one a swerve.More
