Surroundings very nice, setprice meal OK. Famous for rabbit dishes but set meal including rabbit rather disappointing. Our friends who had visited many times in the past kept saying it was not as good as it used to be. Suppose all restauraants change.

Visited without reservation today and was seated, but recommend booking in holiday season. Excellent and sufficient 3 course menu, plus house tapas appetisers. Plentiful main course of meat cooked on huge outside log fired BBQ type grill. Drinks included in the price. Staff friendly and attentive. No rush whatsoever to vacate table. Opening hours 1300 - 1630. Other more expensive... More

This restaurant is on a little plateau above the river about 7-10km short of Guadalest - depending which road north you take - the wider road was blocked because of land slippage caused by a storm a few days earlier, so we had to take the steep and narrow alternative to get to the CV70. The restaurant is connected to... More

The staff were very polite and friendly and was found to be a family that had it for 30 years. Cooking was done over a wood fire outside and done to paerfection. Our friends who were with us tried the rabbit caught locally. Stated it was very nice.

T-bone, solomillo, octopus, rabbit liver, jamon, lamb: all perfectly prepared. If you like grilled food this is a must visit. Just plain honest food. Owner has been collecting motorcycles for 40 years which you can see in his museum. Just go and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Had menu del día for 13.50 which for the quality was over priced . Bread was nice. We ordered grilled chicken which was dry. Garlic chicken which was just bones. The salad was dry, olives extremely bitter. Not good. If you are going there eat off the menu.

I visited expecting something extraordinary but was met with an average meal in a very busy and noisy environment; so noisy in fact you couldn't hold a conversation with others on your table. Also 10% service charge is added to the advertised menu prices.
