This cafe is situated right in the centre of the main square in an excellent location. Service was very good and friendly. Food fine.

Guadalest can be very busy in the summer months so it is always good to find somewhere to eat that is good value and serves excellent food. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed a selection of their dishes. The staff were really helpful and the...food came promptly. The tables outside offer a view of the square and it is a really pleasant location to spend some time. The homemade tortilla was especially good, but we also enjoyed a good selection of other dishes. We will return when we next visit Guadalest.More

Went to a morning breakfast. All the sandwiches were really laughable. Two pieces of cheap market bread with one filling. For example in bacon bread was literally just two pieces of burnt bacon between two pieces of dry market bread. In "eggs and bacon" there...is twp small bacon pieces and an egg. Just saying that this place shouldn't definitely be above 2 stars. Sorry. And cappucino isn't so much of a coffee but a cup filled with whipped cream :DMore

After visiting the castle in Guadalest we had a small lunch in the Cafeteria Levante, followed by dessert... The cakes are amazing. If you can't decide which one to choose, take all of them. My most favorite one was the chocolate - orange cake.... It...was sinful!More

Just off the main square from which are spectacular views of the mountains and a blue/green reservoir of water, we savoured two strong cups of 'Americano' coffee. A lovely interlude in this charming and interesting mountain village.

Came here for coffee on a cold day so it was lovely to sit in front of a fire with a hot coffee. Service was good and it was a pity it wasn’t lunch time as the menu looked good.

What more could we ask for? This friendly and efficient cafe is right in the square in Guadalest - possibly the best location in Spain. (It is next to the door to the prison.) We were immediately greeted when we went inside (all tables outside...were full). Lots of choice on the menu. We went for spinach croquettes, Spanish omelette and a salad. Plenty for 2 people - in fact we struggled to finish. The total, including 2 bottles of water and a coffee, was less than 20 euros - bargain! The food was fantastic, staff all very professional, quick service and the toilets were immaculate (and flowers outside the window!). The cakes looked amazing - so we will be back on our next visit to my favourite Spanish villageMore

We visit Guadalest at least twice a year as we love the village. We always make our way to the top to Cafeteria Levante, the ladies are always pleasant and have a smile. The food is always amazing and such good value for money. Would...definite recommend a visit if you are in the area.More

We paid 33€ for a bottle of white wine, calamares a la plancha [delicious, with fried potatoes], chicken wings and a cheese and ham salad and coffee. The quality of food was excellent, but to only pay that much in Sant Gregori Plaza in the...centre of a picturesque village was amazing. And we got a complementary liqueur!More
