This is within a short walk of the Orangutang sanctuary so is ideal to stop and have lunch whilst the centre closes for a couple of hours in the afternoon and then go back for the afternoon feeding time. The food is cheap, service is...quick and the menu has quite a lot of options.More

While others give this cafe a lower rating, we can not. Food was greasy, hot and very tasty. Place basic but very clean., even the loo, no nasty smells etc. Would not stay there as accommodation is offered, like my 5 stars too much but...I would eat there anytime.More

Stay few days at the Sepilok jungle resort resort and ate at the café that is paired to it. I was really surprised by the quality of the Singapore noodle. The vermicelli noodles was perfectly tender and aerial. There were peaces of chicken in it....The curry was nicely integrated in the meal. I asked them spicy and haven't been disappointed. I tried the new day the chicken curry spicy and again was amazed by the flavor of the plate. There was I nice taste of BBQ paprika with the other aromates. Really good at a little price: 15 ringgits and 20 for the second dish.More

Standard Malaysian food, cute setting & friendly staff. There isn’t much to choose from in Sepilok, we ate here as we were staying here. We found better places to eat so didn’t choose to eat here again. Good thing is veggies and veggie dishes make...it an option for vegan/veggies which can be difficult in Malaysia.More

We came here for lunch. The food was great, good servings and drinks came quickly but the meals came out sporadically. We would eat here again though. They have oscillating fans to keep diners cool. Beautiful surroundings.

after visiting Orang Tang Rehabilitation Center and Sun Bears Reservation Center, Banana Cafe is the perfect for taking a rest and charge your battery before keeping again your way! The attendants are sweet and kind Food typical of this region and with a wide choose!...Don’t trust when the lodges say there aren’t restaurants in Sepilok..there are many and at 10/20 minutes of walk from the different lodges!More

Its as the other review said, its choice of food is pretty limited but the service and view are nice. Most of the food is good but AVOID the spaghetti at all cost.

Very nice place to have lunch! It's a great setting in the rainforest and close to the orang-utans/sunbears!

We satyed at Sepilok Jungle Resort for three nights and ate at the Banana Cafe each breakfast and dinner. The setting is very pleasnt next to a pond where we saw many birds. The food was limited and adequate - nothing special, and quite tailored...to Western tastes.More

The food here tasted ok. The chicken chop is miserably small. Enough for a kid only. Lady boss was a nice person

We ate here for 3 days, food was tasty, staff very friendly, and great surroundings. Remember to feed the fish and look out for the sleeping kingfisher.

This restaurant is attached to the Sepilok Jungle Resort and is open air with a stagnant pool beside it - hence mosquitoes +++. Food was ordinary and unmemorable. Limited range of drinks available.
