Discovered the bar meals a few weeks back after a recommendation. Not disappointed food tasty, we now book every week. Fast service, polite friendly staff.

Visited here late on a Sunday afternoon after a walk around Guisborough Woods. They only serve carveries and parmos on a sunday but it was the carvery we were after so this was fine. We ordered with the waitress then were allocated our slot to...go up to the serving deck. I had large so had all 3 meats (Turkey, Pork & Beef). These were all amazing cuts and probably the best turkey i've ever tasted! The server loaded my plate up with as little or much as i asked and everything was absolutely spot on. I was staying at the hotel for a few nights while walking the Cleveland Way, and was never disappointed with my choice of meal. Excellent carvery (plenty of gravy!) Yorkshire pudding wrap, chicken with bubble and squeak cake, and parmo. I am Yorkshire born, but...I'd never heard of parmo (I had to Google it. Fascinating!) I am back home now, thinking how I could replicate those lovely meals. GillMore

I did book the wrong fox and Hounds to start with 😂🤣 The Staff were amazing couldn’t do enough for you, friendly, happy explained the COVID rules Ordering was easy kids could have what they wanted 3 Carverys ordered and chicken nuggets Food was amazing,...hot, and freshly cooked gravy was actually gravy 💚 Tasted lovely clean plates of course Deserts omfg huge is an understatement they tasted amazing as well Please please go there and try the Sunday lunch out 10/10 for everything.More

Yet again just had another lovely meal here, staff very polite, food and service was great, just a shame that it wasnt that busy, all these people that went for eat out to help out should still be helping businesses out, price of food are...reasonable anyway despite that, we will definitely be going again soon.More

Me the wife and two daughters booked a table for a meal. All the meals were outstanding and service was faultless. Price was very reasonable, if I had one negative it would be there was only 4 tables of people in so the atmosphere was...a bit subdued for such a big restaurant. We popped in on our way to Sandsend for a long weekend. We were greeted by a lovely young lady and offered a menu. I went for Jacket Potato with Prawn Marie Rose and my better half had Small Parmo with chips and salad. It’s...a good job he didn’t get the large as the portions are huge! Lovely food and excellent value. This place is a hidden gem. Go visit.More
