Thi is a great restaurant for everyone. The food is always excellent and the service and value for money second to none. The menu del dia is only 11.50 with more elaborate menus at the weekend for 17.50 and 25 euros respectively. I especially love the Canelons, Almejas, Cordero and Pato mudo del Penedes.....I go as often as my waistline allows.....also its a great place for breakfast serving a wide variety of quality hot and cold dishes. My favourite is the bufifarra negra

Fantastic!!!! This opinion is not given just once, I have gone most times as a couple, also with friends and family, I would say about 15 times, lunch and dinner.
Something we always order because we love how they make it: Bacon, skewers, sevillanos, delicious HOMEMADE potatoes, aioli, etc.....
Special mention to
treatment from its owners (Ingrid/Jorge) and its team, loving and very professional, you do not lack anything and always a good face. What can we say about the quality/price of their dishes, a 9 in everything!!! It's nice to come across a small restaurant one day and be pleasantly surprised in this way. Fluorescently marked on our culinary map. Keep it up Taberneta!!!! You do it great!!

My husband always comes to eat lunch at Ingrid’s place. Last weekend we went together and I totally understand why he is always coming back. The food was really good and Ingrid adorable! Gracias y hasta pronto!

So many options to choose for breakfast/brunch! I chose what I thought was a simple pork sandwich and what I got was the most delicious sandwich of my life! The terrace is just beautiful! Great service too. I will definitely be visiting again.

me my husband and daughter visited this restaurant and what a treat !!!!! the food and hospitality are amazing , we had a language barrier but the owner bent over backwards for us to explain the menu and must say it was the best meal during our two week stay in the area ,just sorry we didn't get the chance to return.

We have been here several times and it never disappoints!! Ingrid and Jorge are a great couple and great hosts! They always make us feel very welcome and try as hard to speak English with us as we do to try and speak Spanish with them. The food is always excellent, great value, plentiful and with a good local wine. Ingrid is always very friendly to us, greeting and looking after us as if we have been going there for many years 😀 we would not hesitate to recommend it and have taken close friends there who also had a great experience.
We look forward to our next visit!

We have been to this restaurant three times in two weeks whilst house hunting in the area.
The first two we were on our own for a weekday lunch - both times the place was rammed with locals. Very friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Food is superb Catalan dishes, house wine very drinkable, service attentive as it can be given how busy it is and for 9.50 the menu Del dia is superb value (3 courses, wine and bread).
The last time was for Sunday lunch when it's 15 euro and we took along some friends. Food was extra special - generous portions and some of the best steak (in port) we had all eaten.
The menus change every day and we are sure to become regulars!

Had a fantastic meal for a celebration - the food just kept on coming and everything was delicious. Wine and sangria perfectly served too and lovely people. Recommend!

Lovely family lunch here, full of locals (always a good sign) although service was a little slow as one waiter was off sick. Authentic tapas with a tortilla patatas and pan con tomate that was the best we tasted on our holiday. Ingrid was lovely - very friendly and smiley - we will be back next year!

We came on a friday evening for Dinner and ate the menu (20€ , all drinks included).
Price- Quality is good.
A lot to choose from.
Small place, packed with local People. Not suited for a romantic dinner.
Ingrid is lovely! Service is good, fast and friendly ( and they kept friendly, even against a group of brutal, loud, unrespectfull German People).
The better choice in this village!
