From the moment you enter, you realize you are in store for a special dining experience. The menu, presentation, wine list and flavors found in each course are at a level that will have you returning again and again.

We decided, after many months of thinking about it, to go to lunch at the Auberge L'Esperance. We have friends who have been there and have recommended it to us. The surroundings were very pleasant and we were able to eat on the garden. Our dog came with us. We chose food from the main menu which, whilst a bit... More

We ordered the 3 course menu with asparagus as a starter and fish for the main course, but we got so much more. We got appetizers, an intermediate course and some chocolate truffles and mini panna cotta with the coffee. The Food was just great, not only good but exceptionally well prepared. The fish was á point, the vegetables firm... More

We have been using this restaurant for 3 years and we take all our visitors for lunch and dinner there. The quality of welcome, food and ambience is very high. Service is never rushed and what is served on your plate is always temptingly presented and a joy to eat. On our own we will often take the menu du... More

I can only add to the other glowing recommendations. We visited for lunch as a family (lovely garden with rabbit hutch and games to be enjoyed quietly!) and had a delicious meal. The menu has plenty of choice. An amuse-bouche of courgette with pastry was delicious. This place is definitely set apart by the quality of the ingredients and the... More

Our first visit was to celebrate Fathers Day with Sunday lunch! Lovely warm welcome. The menu offers lots of choice and there is something here for everyone. I say this because on our second visit with friends, one is vegetarian and didn't have a problem at all! The standard of the food and its presentation is fine dining at its... More

We reserved 2 days in advance, when arrived we got a very friendly welcome, initially we sat outside in the garden, later on we asked to change for indoors, no problem whatsoever! We felt that the owners insisted our pleasure. Explanation about the family owned restaurant ran as we are part of this family. We got explanation regarding all dishes,... More

Sunday lunch can be difficult. Our dear friends at La Milliasserie (review elsewhere) recommended this restaurant, and following our first visit in 2015 we asked them to book us in again for Sunday lunch 2016.We were delighted to find that we were in the garden on this visit, splendid, in the shade, and with temperatures approaching 35 degrees and 40... A recommendation from the host at our accommodation, the Auberge was a fantastic dining experience. At first glance Not an expansive selection of options but the set menu ticked all the boxes. A relaxed and friendly service of brilliant dishes at fantastic value - I'd have expected to pay double the £70 overall cost (including drinks) in the UK. Well... More

We just had an amazing meal at Auberge l'Esperance, luckily for us our friends wanted to share the place, I'd have kept it a secret myself. I cannot believe that such a gem would be found in such a quiet little place.
