First time in this Japanese restaurant. The waiter started to translate the menu, but as this was too complicated, he suggested to give us a little bit of everything. This was very joyful. It's been a long time since I had so good food.

In my opinion, the Sugoi restaurant located in the town of Sant Cugat del Valles (Barcelona) offers a type of excellent Japanese cuisine, preparing both traditional and modern dishes like salmon sashimi or salmon and uramakis chopped onion in three textures. His cuisine expresses the high Japanese cuisine and snacks to make a pleasant gastronomic journey. The menu is quite... More

My daughter and I got Sugoi to go the other day. As she goes to bed early it stayed in the car (only for a bit) and then the fridge until the evening. She really wanted japanese for dinner but honestly after sitting the entire afternoon I thought it would be quite bad.....was I wrong!! It was delicious and fresh... More

I cannot count the number of times I have been here. Every time, I walk out satisfied. The dishes are always served with the same care and attention to detail. They make an effort to innovate and always use very high quality ingredients. The wine list is excellent. Especially if you like Riesling with Japanese food, you will agree. I... More

Whilst food is tasty and reasonably priced, that's all this restaurant has to offer. Unfortunately it's one of these places where one gets the feeling that the customer is the least important figure in the room: when booking a table you'll be bound to select a very specific timing and there will be no table-choosing albeit having an empty room... The best Japanese outside of Barcelona. A bit pricey but worth the quality, even the Barça players dine here . A great place. Average: 35€ /person

Food amazing, very original dishes with great flavour. A bit expensive but it is worth it if you are a goody.

Yes its the food, stupid! That's why you go to a restaurant isn't it? The service is a bit abrupt. The ambience a bit sterile. But oh the food. It's fantastic. We had cerviche to start and a sort of seaweed salad. Both glorious. As was the sushi and tataki. One of the best meals I have had in Spain

Excellent japanese dishes (all of them) with good japanese draft beer. Small restaurant, thus reservation needed. Kind staff. Unfortunately, the music is far too loud. The loudspeakers to not help in maintaining the conversation and the voices get raised at all other tables. Not recommendable for people with tinnitus or wearing hearing aids. Do not expect a relaxed ambience.

If you call to make a reservation you might be told by a lady with no experience "it's impossible! We're totally full". You might think, wow, what a popular place, it must be very good! 1 minute later a gentleman might call you saying "we have space for 2 at the bar". You might think wow, how disorganized is this...
