Like Baltrum itself, the restaurants of this quiet resort island excel at being low-key. I wish I could tell you how the food was, but we never got that far! The staff was so rude, it wasn't hard to get the message that we were not welcome. Apparently, accommodating a party of seven with two kids required them to burn more calories than they were willing to give. And it was not busy at... More

Das war ok, aber es gibt auf Baltrum und auf den anderen Inseln sicherlich besseres. It was ok, but there is definitely better food available on Baltrum and the other islands.

The restaurant is near the old church and its "bell tower". The interior is a bit outdated and overall pretty basic. This is not bad, but not the right place if you want to get out with your spouse. The menu has a good number of different items. The food is good (as in ok), but a bit home cooking... More

The family-owned house with home cooking at reasonable prices and large portions. On the menu you will also find popular fish. The 6 outdoor tables are covered with a tent and thus protected from rain
