Some reviews and some people have grumbled about how the standard has dropped BUT! I fly back to KL every year and my priority stop is FONG FONG Yong Tow Foo. It never disappoints me in that the Tow Foo and the fish fillings are...just unbeatable! The Brinjal, ladies fingers, long red chillie all stuffed with the fish paste are so unique! Huge pieces and huge tasty fillings. The deep fried bean sheets with the fillings and the fried dumplings etc etc - well worth me flying home every year!! All the complains about price etc. People complain when they have it too good. I find the price so reasonable, the quality so good and the food so very delicious! No where else except Fong Fong Yong Tow Foo!!!More

Although there were lots of people the service is excellent. The moment we stepped in the waitress ushered us to an empty table. Without requesting, fork and spoon were served since there was a child amongst us. Make your orders at the counter. Each piece...is RM1.50. Food is served swiftly. Portion is big. 1st time i eat Yong Tau Fu in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. Everytime i go KL, never try their Yong Tau Fu in town. This Yong Tau Fu Foong Foong in Ampang so delicious. My boyfriend bring me go there to try that Yong Tau Fu....Because he's local people. Next time i want to eat again, It's nice and delicious. I like the soup. And the meat is fish.More

If you for best Yong Tau Foo in Ampang Town go to Foong Foong Restaurant. Car park is available. Price reasonable and the Yong Tau Foo is delicious. Weekends and Public Holidays is full of people but you do not need to wait too long...to get a table.More

This is the famous Ampang Yong Tau Foo. But.. is the taste so special that you can't find any where else? Not really. Is it cheap? Not really. A good variety of choice is their advantage.

This is the Famous as compare to the others but taste still not the best as you can try the other 2 in the same row. You might find the other might be more delicious as depends on everyone's preference.

I recommend ordering at least one of everything on the list. It’s surprisingly delicious! Came with my dad so we ordered a few. Would have ordered more !
