Popped in for lunch and enjoyed part of a menu of the day which offered 4 or 5 alternative dishes per course at a very reasonable price which included water, wine & coffee. The waiter whom must have been the owner was extremely friendly and helpful with the hand written menu. Our children only had a pasta course & desert... More

We read about this restaurant on TA - it sounded different so we thought we would give it a go and I am so glad we did. I understand they only open two evenings a week - Thursday & Friday. I believe the family that own it also own the butchers shop next door. We booked (not easy as very... More

Local typical Italian cousin with genuine products. The restaurant owners are also the owners of the salami shop (ita: salumeria) right near the restaurant and for a reason.. They have one of the beat and most reknown meat in the area. If you don't expect much from the restaurant locals itself you'll find good for a very interesting price.

Yes from the outside you may wonder what you have let yourself in for, but when you leave it will not be with a sense of disappointment. Visited last Friday (19th Sept )with 3 others & we all enjoyed the ambiance & the food. The meat was exceptional cooked exactly how each person wanted it. The other parts of the... More

This is an unusual restaurant, it is really a butcher shop (an amazing butcher shop) that turns into a Carnivore restaurant on Thursday and Friday. This place is about great meat.....beef, pork, sausages, and lots of it. Great quality and value and with some house wine, roasted potatoes and some vegetables this makes for a really fun evening.

This small restaurant is behind a butcher's shop. To call it cheap and cheerful would be accurate (we dined very well and paid 125€ for eight people) but would undersell the overall experience. Full of Italians - no tourist joint this. The menu is limited, the decor is modest, but the steak and the mixed grill are excellent. Some side... More

We were happy to find this restaurant walking distance away from our room. The meal at lunch was very good and their desserts looked amazing. We thought that we'd be able to eat dinner at this restaurant in the evening, but its hours were limited in November. Therefore we ate dinner in Lucca nightly and paid a hefty cab fare to return... Great place for quality meats, it is owned by the village butcher. We ate there one evening and the half kilo steak was Devine, and only €15. Excellent value for money on all other dishes, starters were all under €5 and house wine was €1.50 for 250ml, and was good too! Check if open, as only open in the evening... More
