We went with good expectations based on previous reviews but were greatly disappointed with the quality of the food served. We actually left most of our dishes untouched. There was no excuse or any offer to exchange. The restaurant was empty. The place looks nice but a bit chubby. Not recommended
We visited twice this week (it was so good). The restaurant is in a really old tradional hotel. Full of Alpine charm and tradition. The service was excellent, tradional and prompt. The food was really excellent. Our Steak on the first night was succulent and tasty. On the second visit we enjoyed a generous tradional, cook-your-own meat fondue and the... More
We had the most fantastic meal at maison de Filippo and all 9 of us agreed it was the best meal we had all week. It was also the cheapest. Staff were fantastic and very attentive. Service is very good, food is very average, mostly... More
La Maison de Filippo is one of the oldest Restaurant in Entreves (close to Courmayeur). The Soup was very good and the service too. The ambient is old style. I suggest to try bagna cauda. The wine list was terrible.
Mind you I love rustic restaurants and mountain huts, often better than Michelin Star restaurants, but this place is a joke, the food is awful, the service is bad, you can tell the owner has no clue about the business and doesn't care much. In a region with great hospitality and facing one of the most amazing hotels I have... More
