This place is one of the huts offering food on the slopes. It's self service and as most places like that, informal and easy going. Prices are decent.

Food is OK and so is the place, which is also convenient from the main skilift. However, the guy at the till is incredibly rude.
They tried to kick us out before we could even order, while waiting 30min for our french fries they tried to kick us out 3 times. The staff is mean and incomsiderate. After 30 minutes of waiting they forgot to bring any condiments
We visited Rif. Ciampac as three friends on our treck towards Marmolada, for an overnight stay. Despite the fact that we came weary and dirty from previous climbing, we were treated as most honoured guests. We had a three-course dinner which was very good -...but we are in Italy and I am not sure if there are any bad cooks in the area :-) The accomodation was very good too. We may be easy to please - a cozy room with hot shower and a blanket provided by the hut is not obvious in rifugios in general. The rifugio was quite empty, I think because of covid situation (June 2021) and because it was the start of the season. I really appreciated that the staff was very friendly and trying to accommodate our needs. I usually don't write reviews, but here I want to make an exception because of how nicely we were treated. To summarize, I'd recommend you to get to Ciampac before others do!More
We have just come back from a ski holiday in Val di Fassa. We spent a lot of time up at Ciampac which become the base for our skiing, as the ski bowl is an excellent place for beginners and it is also where the...ski school meets. We had lunch each day in this lovely restaurant. Great range of delicious food and not expensive. We had three main meals, plus a drink each and a bottle of water for 37 Euros. There was unfortunately not a lot of choice for gluten free but I did find something. Also this place has a boot room, so you can leave your boots and skis overnight, making the walk and the bus journey in the morning and evening, much less tiring. Great place for morning coffee before ski school and for a late afternoon drink before going back down the mountain. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. They didn't mind my lack of Italian and made us feel very welcome. Awesome, helped make our holiday really wonderful.More
A beautiful sunny terrace facing the ciampac slopes . Have a hot soup with a beer . Wonderful mountain view. Good beginners slopes and a children's playground in wintertime.now newly connected by lift to Canazei ski area .
Never seen such big fresh familypizza's! And for a nice price! All kind of flavours. If you don't like pizza's they have very good traditional food. Nice ambiance in- and outside.
Went here because of all the good reviews. Did not like it at all. Much better options available in the neighbourhood.
Stunning view that deserve the walk up there. The house of Strumpf that is close to the rifugio is very nice and kids loved it going continuousely in and out. a small park for kids is also available. Very nice and kind personnel for the...service. Then We decided not to take the transport untl the closest village and we experienced a fantastic walk down the mountain to digest the merveillous food served there. Very easy and nice.More
It was a good, long lunch break. The food is good and prices are around 10-20% less than other restaurants in the dolomiti superski area. I was really tired, so I took a nap on a bench for a couple of hours. The staff did...not complain, which I really appreciated.More
This is a great place to stop for lunch or a hot chocolate. The selection of food is good and averagely priced for the area. There is a great deck at the back to enjoy a prosecco and watch the passing skiers. Ideal rendezvous point...for a crowd.More
Minestrone - very good. Hot wine - skip. First dishes - pasta - try, worthy! Very good location - directly on the slope. A little bit crowdy during lunch time which is standard in Dolomity, so try it after 2.30 PM.
Great place to stop for some apple strudel and an espresso half way through your hike. Good value for money with very pleasant staff
