We came here for dinner as a family on a local weekday. On our arrival at 6.45pm, the restaurant was almost full with locals and tourists alike. By 7pm it was full. The food took approx 45 mins, we ordered local coconuts and iced tea...while waiting. This is a proper corner lot restaurant with an open air side, plenty of large fans blowing so we didn’t feel the heat. The food was amazingly good & very fresh. We ordered a steam grouper fish, sweet and sour pork (high recommended), 2 steamed prawns which weighted 200 grams each (juicy, sweet and good value for money), seafood chicken soup (fish maw, sotong, half a chicken - the soup was so delicious and special), claypot sizzling taufoo and mixed vegetables. We finished every bit of our meal. The bill came up to under rm300 with drinks for 5pax and it was very good value for money. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Kuah town and looking for a authentic, good value & hearty dinner.More

Highlight of our dinner was the must eat garlic tiger prawns. Other seafood was great as well but vegetables a bit chewy. Overall a great place for dinner with great value

Less crowded and patronized by the local Langkawi islanders. Since I was alone that time, went for it noodle (tuah pan) and it was good.

The food is tasty with reasonable prices and the beer is cheap compared to Cenang restaurant . However if you are staying in the Cenang beach area it will take like 35 minutes for you to drive to Kuah . So unless you go to...Dataran Lang , it would be convenient for you to dine there. We ordered white pomfret , fried roast pork and kangkung with a few beers cost us less than RM90 for 3 pax .More

The competitor was closed on the Sunday I was in Langkawi and ventured to this restaurant. Had a noodle-like dish which we called as tuapan. Acceptable and nothing to shout about.

It's an eatery at the end of a row of shops. Non air-conditioned. Probably about 15 to 20 tables in total. Chinese food was great. Affordable. The grouper we had was a little expensive at $96 RM but it tasted really fresh. Hong kong soya...sauce style. The only down side was the wait. The restaurant was pretty crowded when we arrived at 8pm and the food only came 30-40min later. Pretty popular with the locals. No tourists at all.More

The chef and owner is Teo who has international experience and is ably assisted by his sons who are professionally trained. The range of food offered is quite large and all cooked to perfection. Non Halal, Prices will surprise you as they are quite reasonable.

Consistently wonderful food whatever your choice. So popular you sometimes have to wait a while to get your order but the wait is worth it!
