Very handy pub, with a good menu including some rather excellent fish courses. Very reasonable for this quality in this area, and worth a short detour from the M11 on the way to East Anglia.

Returned after a 2 year gap and found the same excelent service. Welcoming friendly service with a good fish menu. Mid-week filled up with locals & travellers, so best to book. Worth the taxi fare from nearby Premier Inn (Travelodge is very close).

Yes we do have high chairs available. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside the pub but are welcome in the garden. Also the Gluten free menu is on the website.

I don't know as we did not have a dog with us. I suggest ringing them as they are very friendly.
