This is a lovely restaurant and considering it's location is very reasonably priced. I went here for lunch after a morning climbing the surrounding hills. The staff were very welcoming and we were quickly shown to a table on the outside patio. The menu is varied with some excellent choices. The dishes are well presented and tasted delicious. I am... We stayed in the hotel while walking The West Highland Way. The restaurant was a real treat. The food was excellent and the service superb. The waitstaff was friendly, efficient and helpful. I'd recommend reservations. We had them and a group who didn't got turned away as the small restaurant was fully booked. It has two areas, one more casual... More

We ate here on a Saturday evening after 2 of our group had completed a downhill mountain bike race at Glencoe Mountain Resort. Booking required as very busy. Food was fabulous, I had cullen skink and then seabass, others had fish and chips and my boyfriend had steak which came out over-cooked the first time, but other than the annoyance... More

We started our WHW hike at Bridge of Orchy so we had some time to kill. We had drinks and soup for lunch and then came back for dinner. All four of us were extremely happy with our food from the Cullen skink to the haggis and local beers. It was all great.

Charlie the bar man got the meal off to a good start, juggling beer, wine, coffee and tea and discussing the state of the world without missing a beat. The service for the food was impeccable and very friendly without being over the top. We enjoyed the fish and the puddings very much, followed by a dram in the bar.

We stayed here whilst walking the West Highlands way. The hotel rooms are lovely very clean and newly decorated and built the food in the restaurant was average the rare steak was well done and had to be returned the risotto was stodgy and the Sea bass was cremated and chewy the muscles were also dried out.

Wonderful food at very reasonable prices, highly recommended. Kids menu was great (proper food not processed junk) & staff friendly.

Stopped here for dinner whilst staying at the hotel as part of the West Highland Way. My friend and I both had the fish and chips which was delicious.

This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. The food was lovely and fresh with plenty of it. The fish was huge! The service was spot on, a gentleman called Charlie was on and he was very professional with a pleasant manner.

The food was simply delicious, my only disappointment was that there was only one special (a simply unforgettable Venison Wellington) on one of the four nights of our stay and the soup was the same each night, albeit a delicious tomato. Had we stayed much longer, we would have experienced the entire menu - that said the hotel was quiet... More
