Stayed overnight in one of the town rooms. Recently refurbished to very good standard. No complaints. Anyone booking should remember this is however a pub and therefore depending which room you get it will be noisy until late. Dinner at the pub was excellent, however...More

Whilst we enjoyed the food, it took a while to get seated and served. We felt like some of the staff purposely ignored us and made us feel uncomfortable. For such a high star rated restaurant you kind of just expect a warm welcome but...More

Yes as far as I'm aware dogs are allowed in the Bar area which serves food but not in the Bistro section - the bar area is very pleasant with an open fire and we've seen many well behaved dogs in there - hope this helps
