My wife and I visited for lunch and checked with the waitress for 4 different meals as we wanted to as an example have the pasta without olives and to have a starters set bigger as a main and we were told that all our food are pre made/portions and were unable to change anything. When the food arrived it... More

As a relative local to the King Arthur we try to get here as often as possible! This time for a light lunch with a glass of red wine to celebrate an occasion. As usual the food was superb and the wine delicious. The selection of food is brilliant, both on the regular menu and on the forever-changing specials board!... More

Lovely Sunday lunch today. Staff were very helpful, all priced reasonably. Unfortunately couldn't get into dining area as fully booked and bar area was full. Ate in Gower room, pork and chicken dinners were good as was the kids options, deserts were also superb. Lots of veg and plenty of gravy - still full now! Will definitely go again

The food was awful. Tough steaks, over cooked veg, burgers that had the consistency of a cheap sausage. They only have 3 out of 5 for hygiene which is very low. I would avoid eating here again at all costs.

Went here on lots of recommendations from tripadvisor, but it was so poor. Had the burger which was one of the worst things I have eaten for many many years. I couldn't even manage half of it, and it made me feel hugely unwell as it was so greasy and foul. Even the chips were soggier than wet cardboard. The... More

We had supper here on the last night of our week's holiday and the food and service were both excellent. The staff were very welcoming and the service was great even though the pub was packed. The log fire and visit by local Wassailers made the evening!

We were staying in Reynoldston with our dogs and this place was in walking distance. The website claims they are dog walker friendly so we assumed we'd be welcome with our dogs. We were not - there's a sign on the front door saying no dogs allowed and the staff member I enquired with confirmed it - even in November.... More

My wife and I took my parents to the King Arthur for a celebratory birthday meal. We had two fish options which were both overcooked (John Dory less so than the Mackerel) and a pumpkin tart (£9.50) which was about 2 parts pastry to 1 part filling (not including the crust), which is absolutely unforgivable. The other meal was lasagne... More

I've eaten here before and then, as this time, feel it ought to be a lot better than it is. The long list of 'specials' should be a warning that special doesn't mean much - since the list is just like a normal menu. The beer on offer is good - Gower Gold and Felinfoel, for example. The staff are... More
