Had to cancel with 1 days notice because of illness, they let me change the date without any hassle. Very friendly staff, nice location . Breakfast very nice, evening meals nice. Would stay again.

Just returned from a two nigh three day break we found from arrival to leaving all staff pleasant and helpful and the meals to be excellent. We feel that we have had a relaxing time at the Guildhall Tavern.

A lovely old restored building in Denbigh. Went there today for lunch. Very welcoming staff. We had 2 vegetable lasagnes and a ham, egg & fries. The lasagne was very tasty and hot. There was plenty of ham which was very nice. Also good ale available.

Excellent value for money in an old character hotel. Service was excellent with all staff especially the owner Carl being very friendly. The breakfast was excellent very tasty full of flavour. Would I return yes without a doubt.

On the modern side we had an onsuite bathroom, tea and coffee facilities and a hairdryer. The room was big and comfy as was the bed. The... More

Stayed at hotel and sign outside said fresh Whitby scampi so we ordered it. It was fine but straight out of freezer as were the chips and the peas. It was fine but definitely nothing special and not worth the £12 charged. Lack of atmosphere added to a less than memorable experience

Found this place by unfortunate chance after attending a funeral. The lunch menu was unimaginative but food wasn't too bad at all There were two bar staff serving one of which just were not interested in our visit whatsoever She was abrupt, rude and unfriendly to the point as to us feeling uncomfortable, she was more interested in talking to...
