The restaurant wasn't clean and although the food was ok, it wasn't special. We will not recommed it, and we will not visit this place again.

Description
I have been dining at this cosy yet spacious tea rooms for four years and light meals, snacks and main courses are home cooked here. Alcohol is served or non alcoholic beverages and the cakes are something to die for and can even be take away as I have observed many people do. It is open from 09.30 until 4pm plus Friday and Saturday from 09.30 until 20.30. It is housed in a Grade II listed building which was once the Talbot Inn. The main dining room downstairs may look small but up the original 15th century stairs is not only a much larger dining room but also a conference room equipped for dining and private meetings. Patrons of this establishment can opt to dine upstairs it they want.
