First time visit to Hoylake area, on way back to station, passed and decided to go in for refreshment. After a very warm welcome ordered coffees and cakes. The size of the cakes were larger than normal and delicious and the cost was very reasonable, After looking at the menu we will return for lunch when again in the area.

Our regular lunch date once a month. The Chicken and ham pie to die for all homemade. Their cakes are delicious. Homemade bread different daily and always soup of the day. Staff really friendly and helpful. The boss often in the cafe talking to customers. Don't forget to take cash, cards not accepted.

Saw this place as we got off the train, it was about 7pm so obviously closed but I promised myself I would return the next day and that I did. We were cold, wet and hungover but this place soon perked us up. Amazing friendly staff, I didn't even know people could smile so much before 12pm. I sat and... More

Our second visit as we'd been in May. Superb food with the friendliest service. The Scouse is amazing and I tried the peri peri chicken which was also good. Then there's the home baked bread. Wow! The date and walnut with butter is a great finish to a meal. Will be back next year.

I took my friend who was visiting from Holland to this fabulous homley eatery. The home made pies are fabulous - it's so diffucult to decide which one to have though! On this visit I had cheese and onion pie - delicious! My friend had the meat pie both pies with baked potatoes cooked to perfection and salad. I bake... More

Chantilly is just a cafe, nothing overtly special. You'll get what you ask for, if maybe a tad on the pricey side for what it actually is. The cakes and tea I've had have been of a decent standard, but I've not been bowled over by staff - I've noticed they can be a little brusque if not a regular.... More

Came here today for afternoon tea, and it was so delicious! Everything was homemade, even the bread for the sandwiches! Would definitely recommend this place, and will definitely be back. Best scone ever!

Visited here for coffee with a friend today. We were not hurried out nor "invited" to reorder and so we stayed for lunch. Will certainly go again. Very good food; only negative was that the cappuccino was a bit weak. Home made cakes and breads all served with attention and a smile. Caters for food intolerances and allergies. Pleasant surroundings... More
